Details of the numbers of jobs created and lost in companies supported by the enterprise development agencies are tracked by the Forfás Annual Employment Survey. Data is gathered on an annual basis and aggregated at county level. Details in respect of individual companies are not provided as companies supply information to the Survey on a confidential basis for statistical purposes only.

Details of the number of IDA Ireland new name companies along with the number of new IDA Ireland jobs created in Dublin for the last 5 years are set out in the attached tabular statements.

County Dublin has had particular success in recent years in terms of attracting inward investment particularly in the areas of technology and financial services. At present there are 565 IDA Ireland client companies in Dublin employing over 66,323 people in full and part time employment. IDA Ireland has strong relationships with these companies and works closely with them to ensure their long term sustainability and to encourage their growth, development and continuing re-investment in their sites.
