The person concerned was notified on the 22^ndOctober 2014 that her domiciliary care allowance application was successful and that the allowance has been awarded from 1st September 2014. The first payment of the allowance, along with arrears due, will issue on 18^thNovember 2014.

I can confirm that an application for carers allowance was received from the person in question on 19thAugust 2014. The application is currently being examined by a Deciding Officer and the person concerned will be notified in writing of their decision as soon as possible.
