I understand that Fáilte Ireland recently launched a pilot Visitor Attraction Senior Management Programme. This  programme of continued professional development  was specifically designed for senior managers of high volume fee-based heritage visitor attractions.

The Department of Transport Tourism and Sport has no role in the management or day to day running of such programmes. That is a matter for the board and management of Fáilte Ireland.  I have therefore referred the Deputy's question to Failte Ireland for direct reply.

Please contact my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
