Payments under the 2014 Disadvantaged Areas Scheme began issuing, on target, on 24 September. Processing of the application of the person named has recently been finalised, with payment due to issue shortly, directly to the nominated bank account of the person named. In the case of the Single Farm Payment, I can confirm that advance payments valued at over €500 million will commence on 16 October 2014.
