To ask the Minister for Finance the number of new staff employed since 1 July 2013 up to 31 December 2013 and the expected annual costs arising therefrom; the expected number to be employed in 2014 and the estimated annual cost arising therefrom; the expected number to be employed in 2015 and the estimated annual cost arising therefrom; the expected number to be employed in 2016 and the estimated annual cost arising therefrom; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The number of new staff employed since 1 July 2013 to 31 December 2013 and the expected number to be employed in 2014 are shown in the table below. The salaries of all staff within my Department fully adhere to pay guidelines issued by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
