1545. It is a requirement under the suite of Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People and People with a Disability that applicants are registered for the payment of the Local Property Tax. Where an applicant is in arrears and there is an agreed timeline for repayment, applications can be accepted by the local authority. The detailed administration of the schemes , including the assessment, approval and payment of grants to applicants, is the responsibility of the local authority.
