The National Council for Special Education (NCSE), through its network of Special Educational Needs Organisers (SENOs), is repsonsible for the allocation of staffing in special schools. The NCSE operates within my Department's criteria in allocating such support.
The NCSE is currently examining the current staffing allocation in the school to which the Deputy refers, with reference to its current enrolment and student profile.
On completion of this examination, the school will be notified of the outcome.
