To ask the Minister for Health if additional funding can be allocated to the Health Service Executive West so that insulin pump treatment for young persons aged five and over with diabetes can commence immediately thus ending a regional disparity and in light of the training that has already been provided to parents and patients in the use of this innovative treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
