834. To ask the Minister for Health the number of persons residing in County Mayo that have been treated for skin cancer in each of the past five years to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [33195/14]

The National Cancer Registry of Ireland, which is the statutory body with responsibility for the collection and analysis of information relating to the incidence of cancer in Ireland, advises that the total cases of skin cancer diagnosed in Mayo from 2008 - 2012 (the most recent five year time period for which complete data is available) is as follows:
