My Department’s current Statement of Strategy covers the period 2011-2014 which is available on my Department's website. Under the Public Service Management Act 1997 Departments are required to produce a new Statement of Strategy every three years and within six months of the appointment of a new Minister. Over the coming months my Department will develop a new Statement of Strategy. After the strategy statement has been approved, I will arrange for it to be laid before each House of the Oireachtas in accordance with Section 5 of the Public Service Management Act 1997. Following publication it will also be made publicly available on my Department's website.
