The 2015 to 2020 forestry programme is currently being prepared under European Guidelines for State aid in the agriculture and forestry sector and in rural areas 2014 – 2020. The document will be submitted for public consultation shortly. It will issue alongside the environmental report as part of the Strategic Environmental Assessment exercise and written submissions will be sought as part of this process. The programme along with new schemes is expected to be launched in January 2015.
