178. To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he will provide in tabular form those Acts currently in force for which he has lead responsibility that have parts or sections yet to be formally commenced; the details or purpose of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information requested is not readily available in my Department and its compilation would involve a disproportionate amount of time and effort. However, on the website of the Irish Statute Book, there is an “Acts of the Oireachtas” page provides access to each Act. Once a particular Act is selected, details of the commencement status of each section of the Act are accessible by selecting the “Legislative Directory Entry” link.
