To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the arrangements in place to ensure appropriate redeployment arrangements in the Road Safety Authority for driver testers who may be affected by a road traffic accident in the course of their work, which results in them not being able to continue in that role; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Staffing issues and any redeployment arrangements for driver testers is a matter for the Road Safety Authority.  I have therefore referred the question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
