The Sligo Regeneration project team is currently developing a social, economic and physical Masterplan for the East City Area. A public exhibition of the proposals that have emerged from the Master - planning process so far is being presented to the local community over the course of one week, commencing on 14 July, 2014. No definitive decisions on projects such as the refurbishment of the Gate Lodge have been taken at this stage.
