To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if a person (details supplied) in County Offaly presents for an interview with a local authority, is the person entitled to receive a written transcript of their interview results under freedom of information legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under section 159 of the Local Government Act 2001, each Chief Executive is responsible for staffing and organisational arrangements necessary for carrying out the functions of the local authorities for which he or she is responsible. Therefore, the issue raised in relation to interview procedures at Offaly County Council are a matter for the Chief Executive of Offaly County Council.
