To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if he will provide in tabular form the details of the names and occupations of each member of the board of Foras na Gaeilge from 2010 to 2014; the dates on which each member was appointed to the board; if he will provide a list, in tabular form of all expenses paid to individual members of the board for each of the years since the date of their appointment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information sought by the Deputy, as advised to my Department by Foras na Gaeilge, is set out in the tables below – one table referring to board members serving as at 1 January 2010 and the other to members serving on the successor board appointed with effect from 13 December 2011. It may be noted that appointments to the board of Foras na Gaeilge, being an agency of An Foras Teanga, a North South Implementation Body, are made by the North South Ministerial Council, arising from nominations on a 50:50 basis from each jurisdiction.
