To ask the Minister for Health the number of persons who are being funded by the Health Service Executive to receive long term psychiatric care outside of the State; if he will provide a breakdown of the cost involved for the past three years; the nature of the specialist treatment abroad and if it is drug lead; if these centres have been inspected by the HSE prior to sending patients there; and if they are being monitored while there.
