To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he will review a tender bid by a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; and if he will provide a breakdown of the number of existing contractors to local authorities who have been re-employed by Irish Water; and if he will provide a breakdown of new contractors winning the bid for the provision of services with the setting up of Irish Water. Since 1 January 2014, Irish Water has statutory responsibility for all aspects of water services planning, delivery and operation at national, regional and local levels. This includes responsibility for the procurement of services. I will ask Irish Water to contact the Deputy directly to discuss this matter.
