To ask the Minister for Health if appropriate arrangements have been made to arrange cover for leave arrangements in respect of a speech therapist (details supplied); if a person has been appointed to the position; if he will reassure patients that the service will continue without interruption during the leave; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the issue raised by the Deputy relates to an individual case, this is a service matter for the Health Service Executive. I have asked the HSE to look into the particular matter raised and to reply directly to the Deputy.
