111. To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government the legislation under which the regulations for the conduct of a presidential election and a referendum are held; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27490/14]

The legislation relating to the holding of a Presidential election is the Presidential Elections Act 1993. The relevant legislation in the case of referendums is the Referendum Act 1994 and the Referendum Act 1998.
