I refer the Deputy to Question No. 1 which was answered on Wednesday last, 18 June, 2014 by my colleague Minister of State, Paul Kehoe, T.D., in which he stated the following:
At the most recent meeting held with the family and both the Secretary General and the Chief of Staff on 6 June last, an approach to address concerns raised by the family was discussed. This matter is currently being progressed following on from this meeting. In this context the Taoiseach, in his role as Minister for Defence, has not arranged to meet the family. On this basis, my position remains unchanged. I would like to finish by once again extending my sympathies to the families of the deceased.
