To ask the Minister for Health if St Vincent's Hospital Dublin has suspended life-saving gastric bypass operations for dangerously obese public patients; the exact number of patients who are on the waiting list for this surgery; the number of patients on the outpatient list to see a specialist; the reasons this surgery has been suspended; the way he plans to deal with the patients waiting for surgery and outpatients; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
