153. To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 10 and 41 of 27 May 2014, of the 689 reports which Central Bank of Ireland staff reported to An Garda Síochána between 2009 and 2013, as required under Section 33AK of the Central Bank Act 1942, involving information that led them to suspect a criminal offence may have been committed by an entity supervised by the Central Bank of Ireland, the total number of these reports which led to prosecutions and successful prosecutions against persons in those regulated entities during that period; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have requested a report from the Garda authorities in relation to the matter referred to by the Deputy. I will contact the Deputy directly as soon as the report is to hand.
