86. To ask the Minister for Social Protection if she will provide a breakdown of the estimated cost to the Exchequer of increasing the number of weeks for which fuel allowance will be available to eligible recipients by a further two, four and six weeks. [23596/14]

The annual cost of increasing the duration of the fuel allowance season by 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks, is estimated, based on expenditure data on the scheme in the year to date, to be €8.2 million, €16.4 million and €24.6 million, respectively.
