To ask the Minister for Health the medical and surgical appliances that are supplied without charge to a person with a medical card who is suffering from spina bifida; the criteria used to decide if a medical or surgical appliance will be supplied free of charge; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The HSE is responsible for the administration of the primary care schemes, therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
