The information requested by the Deputy is not available on an annual basis. However, the following table contains the information available from the Census of Population for the years 2006 and 2011 regarding the number of workers commuting from the Republic of Ireland to work in Northern Ireland.

The number of workers commuting from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland is based on the Northern Ireland census (carried out every ten years) and the 2011 data has not yet been published.
