193. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding funding for extra accommodation in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Cork. [19219/14]

Funding was approved in 2013 to the school, referred to by the Deputy, for the provision of special need facilities.

More recently, however, the school authorities, in question, have requested additional capital funding to provide an additional classroom.

This proposal is currently under consideration and my Department will be in contact with the school authorities as soon as this process has been completed.
