941. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if a problem has been identified in the driving licence application system where some persons who have already completed a medical exam have been told they need to take another medical exam because of an error in the system. [19109/14]

The operation of the National Driver Licensing Service is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority.  I have therefore referred the question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
