755. To ask the Minister for Health the reason podiatry testing has been withdrawn at the Living Health Clinic in Mitchelstown County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18728/14]

While there is no statutory obligation to provide a chiropody/podiatry service, such services are provided by the HSE to medical card patients with the greatest needs. I have asked the Health Service Executive to investigate the particular queries raised by the Deputy and to respond directly to her.
