To ask the Minister for Social Protection the percentage of deferred members in defined benefit pension schemes and defined contribution pension schemes in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013; the percentage of persons receiving a pension from defined benefit pension schemes and defined contribution pension schemes in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013; the percentage of members who were contributing to defined benefit pension schemes and defined contribution pensions schemes in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. The table below indicates the number of active scheme members in defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension schemes for the years 2011 and 2012. Deferred members have left the employment and are no longer contributors to the scheme.
