To ask the Minister for Health the reason for the extraordinary hike in day case and in-patient waiting lists at Waterford Regional Hospital in the year to October 2013 when there were 2,603 waiting, an increase of 1,689 on October 2012; the number of those on the day case and inpatient waiting lists in October 2013 that have since had their treatment procured privately; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
