I propose to take Questions Nos. 325 and 326 together.

The information sought by the Deputy concerning the number of motor vehicles in the possession of my Department and in the bodies funded from my Department's Vote Group that are not required to hold motor tax or insurance is set out in the table. My Department was established on 2 June 2011 and, therefore, the Deputy will appreciate that the information sought by him in respect of the Department can only be provided from that date.

Usage of official vehicles by my Department is governed by the Department's Policy on Driving Official Vehicles, (February, 2013). In accordance with Paragraph 10 of that policy, the driver of any official vehicle involved in an accident must complete and submit an accident report form. All claims concerning my Department are handled through the State Claims Agency.
