To ask the Minister for Health the rationale for the Health Service Executive's proposed merger of the Dublin Fire Brigade with the National Ambulance service; the cost savings the HSE proposes to make with the merger; the engagement the HSE had with the workers in the Dublin Fire Brigade ambulance service; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
