I have already outlined to the House how the Attorney General brought matters of very serious concern relating to An Garda Síochána to my attention on Sunday 23^rd March and the action that I took as a consequence. On Monday 24 March, I asked the Secretary General of the Department of Justice and Equality to convey to the then Commissioner my deep concern about these matters, and the fact that I would be reporting them to the Cabinet and to the Dáil.
