350. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the number of children he would like to see pre-enrolled to confirm parental demand in the proposed Steiner School in Knocknacarra, Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13508/14]

The school to which the Deputy refers is intended to be a single-stream school. Under the current pupil/teacher ratio of 28:1, a single stream school would be expected to cater for some 224 pupils when fully developed.
