333. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if he will provide funding for a new second level school in the Raheen-Dooradoyle area of Limerick; the stage this project is at; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13328/14]

In June 2011 I announced that some 20 new post primary schools are to be established up to 2017 to cater for increasing demographics across a number of locations. That announcement did not include a proposal to establish a new school for the Raheen/Dooradoyle area of Limerick.
My Department is currently analysing the demographics for all areas, including those for Limerick city, to determine where any further new schools may be needed into the future.
