To ask the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kerry who suffers from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is not allowed to qualify for the treatment abroad scheme even though there is no specialist here to provide treatment; if he will have the application reconsidered favourably; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
