112. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if his Department has carried out security sweeps of its own offices to ensure that no bugging or covert surveillance has or is taking place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8535/14]

In response to the Deputy s question I can confirm that no office in my Department has been swept for electronic or any other type of surveillance or bugging equipment since the formation of this Government.
