55. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if his Department has carried out security sweeps of its own offices to ensure that no bugging or covert surveillance has or is taking place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8534/14]

It is not policy to comment on or provide details concerning security matters of this nature. My Department’s security arrangements are kept under regular review, including security arrangements for premises and telecommunications.
