DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools), the Action Plan for educational inclusion, is my Department's policy instrument to address educational disadvantage which focuses on addressing and prioritising the educational needs of children and young people from disadvantaged communities, from preschool through second-level education.

All DEIS Urban primary and DEIS post primary schools are currently included in the Home School Community Liaison Scheme which is administered by the Educational Welfare service of the Child and Family Agency.

There are 11 DEIS post primary schools located in the Dublin 9 and 11 areas.

The information requested by the Deputy in relation to the post primary schools in Dublin 9 and Dublin 11 included in the Home School Community Liaison Scheme is set out in the attached table.
