The consultancy contracts awarded by Uisce Éireann in 2013 relate to consultancy services which were required by the Irish Water Programme as part of the establishment phase in connection with the set-up of the new utility in advance of asset transfer on 1 January 2014.

The consultancy firms employed operate in three broad areas of support: HR Support; Corporate Support and Procurement Support. They were appointed in compliance with EU procurement legislation and on completion of detailed pre-qualification and tender evaluation. Details of the various consultancy firms appointed in 2013 are set out below. As all appointments were made following a competitive tender process the hourly rate applicable under each contract awarded is commercially sensitive.
