The members of my Department's Audit Committee are appointed by the Accounting Officer. The Committee has a membership of five including three external members, one of whom is Chairperson.

The current members have had varied backgrounds and occupations bringing a breadth of experience, skills and knowledge in areas important to the Department, to their work. There is no requirement for them to hold particular professional qualifications.

Details of the current membership, the dates of appointment of each member and the fees paid to each member, where applicable, are set out in the table.
