The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS), under the aegis of the Citizens Information Board, provides a high quality personal service to assist people who are over indebted and need help and advice in coping with debt problems, in particular those on low incomes and people living on social welfare payments.

The table below provides details of the number of applications for assistance in Dublin North East MABS which covers Coolock, Dublin 5; for each of the years 2011, 2012, 2013.

I am satisfied that local management is monitoring demand for MABS services in Coolock and keeping the level of service provided under ongoing review in line with available resources.
