To ask the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will consider liaising with the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland with a view to revising the newly drafted sound and vision scheme so that it provides improved support and opportunities to community media; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To ask the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources further to the proposed public service broadcasting charge, if he will consider apportioning some of the income from the charge to support community broadcasting that operates on a not-for-profit basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
