The Young Entrepreneur Programme is an initiative in the Kerry region primarily focused on transition year students. The programme was established in 2006 and is run by a not for profit organisation, Nurture Entrepreneurs Ltd. The programme was supported in previous years by a range of sponsors that included Shannon Development and the programme continues to be supported by the private sector. I understand that the format of the Young Entrepreneur Programme has changed since last September, giving educators and their students the opportunity to take part in the programme through an online platform.
