To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the position regarding the suspension of a journalist with a volunteer community radio station (details supplied) due to an undue influence of a foreign embassy regarding the halting of reporting of human rights abuses in Gaza; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are mechanisms in Ireland for the hearing of broadcasting complaints. The operation of those mechanisms, and the response to them by media outlets, is not the responsibility of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
