951. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the security procedures that are in place at Dublin Airport to allow intending passengers who previously had hip or knee replacements to board flights without having to endure strip searches or body examinations. [1460/14]

The matter raised by the Deputy at Dublin Airport is an operational matter for the Dublin Airport Authority.  Accordingly, I have forwarded the question to the DAA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
