To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government in relation to the COP 15 fast start finance promised to the amount to $30b for the period 2010-2012 by developed countries, what did the Irish Government deliver in fast track finance in 2012; are these disbursements reported in the fast track finance database; and if he will make a statement on the matter. For the year 2012, Ireland reported a contribution of €33.22m in respect of fast start finance. Details of Ireland’s contributions to fast start finance have been provided to the European Commission and the Secretariat to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
