141. To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he will meet with the Kerry Oireachtas Members and the members of Killarney Town Council at an early date to discuss the case Killarney has to make in respect of retaining its mayor from 2014 onwards; if he will take into consideration the fact that Killarney is the capital of tourism in Ireland and allow it in future to elect its own mayor; if he will take into consideration the fact that the mayor is extremely important to Killarney's business and hospitality industry, even more so than in most other towns and cities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
