To ask the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that in its policy document on alcohol dependency the Department of Social Protection has recommended that Disulfiram Antabuse may have potentially fatal side effects and should not be used in an outpatient setting; if the Health Service Executive is continuing through its out-patient and addiction clinics to continue to prescribe Antabuse; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
